Desert Art Collection & Sculpture Garden
For our 22nd Anniversary an exciting schedule of shows is in the works. Atticus Adams' new metal pieces "Modernism in Design" will be shown in February. Cliff Kearns is continuing his exciting, sold-out series, "Celebrity, Product & Art". Aida Schneider has a collection of new oil on board paintings and there is a special soiree reception for her on Saturday, March 17th (you must RSVP to attend). Santiago Garcia will show his latest conceptualization of reality or "magic realism" series of Converse Shoe paintings, animals in absurd situations and abstracts. All show details will be available on our "Events" page.
In 1996 Fedderly Associates, a development, construction and design firm, made a designated room for showing their clients fine art and sculpture for their homes and offices. Gradually the show area grew to two rooms, then three (the Principal moved his office to accommodate the expansion) and the lobby. In the fall of 2008, the design firm moved its offices, showrooms and storerooms to Nopales Road in the Desert Business Park leaving the art gallery with all the space inside and all the outside garden/courtyard.
A beautiful compliment to the art gallery, the Lotus Garden, florist and nursery, moved into the southern end of the compound in 2010. The ever evolving gallery then made a separate business out of the (mostly African) tribal antiques and artifacts that the owner, Mike Fedderly, has collected over the past 50 years. Tribal Artifacts is housed within the Desert Art Collection. The lines between all the businesses at the compound are blurred by intention.
The gallery represents mostly mature masterful artists and sculptors, but also some emerging talents from all over the Americas.
Coachella Valley's (Palm Springs area) largest fine art gallery & sculpture garden located in Palm Desert.
